Co-Grand Marshals Maryann & Kevin Meara

Maryann and I are humbled and honored to be your 2024 St Patrick’s Day Parade @ Hamilton Co-Grand Marshals and we recognize we are following in the footsteps of so many distinguished members of our community who too served as Grand Marshals. We are delighted and proud to share the stage with our 2024 Miss St Patrick’s Day Kayla Adam and our nonprofit City of Angels. We both draw from our Irish roots, Mare from her mother Dolores a MacArthur of Scotch, Irish, English and French decent. Myself, a member of AOH Joe Cahill Division 10, from my dad Phil Meara a first generation Irish- American with roots in County Tipperary and from mom Margie Moylan, with deep roots in County Cork. “Proud to be Irish” was etched on our birth certificates. City of Angels with all our volunteers exemplify this year’s Parade Theme “Service Through Sacrifice” as we are certain that you do too. We believe service and sacrifice is that common thread woven through the fabric of Irish America, which binds us as a community! We commit ourselves to the importance of living both our RC Catholic faith and our Irish heritage, as we invite you all to join us on this Grand Marshal journey! We so look forward to seeing you at the St Patrick’s Day Parade on March 9th, where we get to proclaim… “Let The Parade Begin.”  God bless you all and God bless our America!
