Dawn Sabo received her bachelor’s degree from Richard Stockton State College in Psychology. She went on to get her master’s degree in counseling – Alcohol and Chemical Dependency. She worked at North Princeton Developmental Center for 8 years as a Behavior Modification Program Technician. At NPDC, she worked with the Developmentally Disabled and wrote behavior plans and implemented them, etc. She then went on to further her career at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital for 25 years. Most of her time at TPH was as a Substance Abuse Counselor. At TPH, she saw patients for individual and group therapy, conducted assessments, facilitated AA meetings, helped guide patients to recovery, etc. Dawn retired from the State of NJ in 2022 with 35 years of service. Shortly after, she started working part time as an executive assistant.
Dawn volunteers for numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Hamilton YMCA, Ryan’s Quest and the City of Angels. Dawn learned early on about helping others through her family’s deep commitment to the community.
Dawn has been married for almost 19 years in December to Michael. They have two beautiful cats, named Zoey and Luna.
Since retiring, Dawn learned how to play pickleball, like all the other retirees and plays almost every day. She also enjoys working out at the gym with her trainer. Dawn loves reading, the sun, shopping and spending time with Michael.

Michael A. Sabo is a dedicated community leader, entrepreneur, and business professional whose deep roots in New Jersey have driven a lifetime of civic engagement.
A versatile executive with expertise spanning finance, media, and public service, Michael wears many professional hats. He serves as a Financial Center Manager at Mid Penn Bank and as Confidential Aide to Commissioner Nina D. Melker. He is also the founder and Chief Media Evangelist of Pulse Media, LLC. Through his extensive career in business and strategic consulting, Michael has become a trusted advisor to a diverse array of organizations and leaders, including businesses, non-profits, Members of Congress, State Senators, Assemblymembers, Mayors, and other local government officials.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael is fiercely committed to uplifting his community through extensive volunteer and advocacy work. He proudly serves as the Board President for the Mercer County Technical Schools, championing educational opportunities and vocational development for local students. Additionally, he is an active Trustee for City of Angels NJ, dedicating his time to supporting those affected by addiction and fostering vital recovery initiatives. His passion for service also extends to his roles on the Board of Trustees for the Hamilton Area YMCA and as an active board member of Ryan’s Quest.
Driven by a profound belief in giving back, Michael hopes his ongoing dedication leaves a lasting, positive impact on the organizations and individuals he serves. Outside of his professional and civic commitments, Michael enjoys golfing, fishing, cooking, and relaxing with a good cigar. He shares his life with Dawn, his wife of 19 years, and their two cats.
